Daguerreotyping is devoted to the art and craft of photography. It’s my space to display my work, talk about it, and opine on the tools which help me produce it. I’m a self-taught photographer — although with a lot of nudges and advice along the way from my father (a former professional photographer).
Much of the enjoyment I take in making images are the tools which I use. While I have access to digital cameras, most of the time I prefer to shoot on film. Within the virtual walls of this site you’ll find reviews and information on the cameras and lenses I use, selected images (with commentary and without), a discussion on my workflow, and anything else that may cross my mind in regards to photography.
I hope you enjoy it.
